Annapurna – Base Camp and Sanctuary Trek – Teahouse or Camping trek visiting Annapurna and Machhapuchhre Base Camps. A classic Nepal trek in the preserved Annapurna Sanctuary. This is one of the most beautiful and least taxing Himalayan treks, making it popular yet still fantastically spectacular. Includes the famous early morning mountain view from Poon Hill.


Remember if you have a group of 2 or more we can arrange this trip for you on your prefered date during any of the available months listed.

Day 1:
5 hours driving by tourist bus to Pokhara and stay overnight at hotel in Pokhara.

Day 2:
1.5 hours drive to Nayapool and trek along the small stream for 3 hours to Tikhedunga (1,540m.)

Day 3:
Hiking up for 2 hours to Ulleri (A famous Gurung village), enjoy the surroundings, have lunch and continue up to Gorepani (2,860m.) for 3 hours through pine and bamboo forest.

Day 4:
Early morning hike up to Poon Hill (3,210m.) to observe the Himalayan sunrise, beautiful landscapes and mountain ranges like Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Machhapuchhre, Nilgiri etc. and back to Gorepani. Hike to Deurali and trek down to Tadapani (2,590m.) through Banthanti (2,520) within a beautiful and big mountain forest. – 5 hours walking.

Day 5:
Down to Kimrong and up to Gurjung to spend the night at Chhomrong (2,170m.), closer view of Machhapuchhre, Annapurna South and Hiunchuli. 4 walking hours.

Day 6:
200 m. down and hiking up to Siniwa (2,340 m.) for lunch and camp at Bamboo (2400m.) – 4 hours.

Day 7:
To Deurali (3230m.), observing avalanche on either side of the trail. 4 hours walking.

Day 8:
Hiking up to Machhapuchhre Base Camp (3,700m.) and continuing to Annapurna Base Camp (4,200m.) – 4:30 hours.

Day 9:
Rest day, great view of Annapurna I, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Kharsargang, Singuchuli, Himchuli, and observe glaciers and avalanche.

Day 10:
Trekking back to Sinuwa

Day 11:
To Ghadrung (One of the biggest Gurung village) attractions: Gurung museum, great landscapes, all tourist facilities. – 5 hours.

Day 12:
Trekking down Syauli Bazaar and continuing on the bank of Modi Khola (river) to Birethanti – 4.5 hours walking

Day 13:
45 minutes walking to Nayapool and 1.50 hours drive to Pokhara. Bus to Kathmandu

Personal nature expenses like laundry, communication, shopping etc, bar bill, extra drinks and food en route outside of meals times, personal sleeping bag and gear – like your boots ! , personal insurance.
