Adventuring in the Swedish Arctic Circle! This is a specially created series of day hikes through snow, remote forests and the frozen Torne river. We hope to see the magnificent Northern Lights and get a glimpse of the elusive wildlife (moose, reindeer, fox, martin, lynx and grouse). After each day of epic exploring that will be physically challenging, return to the warmth of your cabin and relax in the sauna.

This adventure will require mental grit and determination to wade through deep snow at times, but if you can handle it, the rewards are worth it!

February is cold and you’ll have to work hard for this trip. There’s always a sauna and good food at the end of a tiring day.

We stay in a delightful warm cabin. It houses five people – three single beds and a double. There is another cabin a few meters away, which we can also use. The trip is self-catering but all food will be provided and we cook together. So it’s all hands on!

Outside there is a wood sauna which we can use anytime (it takes about two hours to heat up but you can stay all night!)

This is a unique trip, not offered by others in such a hands-on active way. It would suit those who dream of such a trip but never quite make it. Thebluespace co-operative are offering this as a once only trip. An experienced guide who knows the area will accompany you the whole time. Remember this is the real thing – you will be remote, walking in the snow in the cold and having to chip in with cooking…!

This is a good fun trip to challenge yourself in a safe environment. Stay Strong!

There is a good internet connection in the cabin and a TV.
